Question 1

What contaminants are in South Florida's tap water?

Accepted Answer

Independent testing by the EWG has found 15+ contaminants in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach water, including PFAS forever chemicals, chlorine and disinfection byproducts, lead and other heavy metals, and very high hardness from the limestone Biscayne Aquifer.

Question 2

Why do I need a whole-house system instead of a pitcher filter?

Accepted Answer

A pitcher or single faucet filter only cleans the water at one tap. A whole-house system treats the water where it enters your home, so every shower, sink, appliance and your water heater all run on filtered water.

Question 3

What is the best whole-house water filtration system for Florida?

Accepted Answer

It depends on what is in your water, which is why we test first. For most South Florida homes our Cyclonic Action System or the H2O-MU110UF whole-house system handle hardness, chlorine, sediment and PFAS at the point of entry. We size the system to your home during the free water test.

Question 4

Is the water test really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We test your water at your home at no cost and walk you through the results. There is no charge and no obligation to buy anything.

Question 5

How much does a whole-house water filtration system cost?

Accepted Answer

Cost depends on your water, your home's plumbing and the system you choose. We give you an exact price in writing at your free in-home water test, and $0 down Ygrene PACE financing is available for homeowners with no minimum credit score.
